CORRECTION -- In the Summer 2004 newsletter mailed through the postal system, there was a misunderstanding on EWEB's wind power. In the article titled "Earth Friendly Energy" we stated 100% of the Olive store's power is wind power. Actually, 100% of the electricity bill is charged at the wind power rate but only a small fraction of our electricity is generated from the wind turbines. The wind turbines are located in Wyoming and dump most of their power into the local power grid. For more information on wind power in Eugene, visit EWEB here.
